Classroom Without Walls students celebrated their year of CWW adventures with one last overnight hiking trip earlier this month. The students packed up their gear and headed to the Lake Como Hiker’s cabin for an afternoon of fun in snow. They explored the winter wonderland, built snow sculptures, and warmed by the fire with hot cocoa, cookies, and quesadillas. After dinner they suited up in their warm clothes one more time for a night hike through the snow. The next day the CWW crew headed up to the Chief Joseph area for some snowshoeing in the fresh snow.
The winter overnight is always a memorable experience and a great time for the students to spend a final weekend together sharing stories, remembering the summer trip, and planning new adventures. It was a great group and they will be missed in the CWW program, but we’re excited to welcome the new cohort this semester!
